bt8podiatry is a clinic based in Belfast providing a full range of foot care services to a wide clientele across Northern Ireland. btpodiatry is owned and managed by Phil McComiskey. Phil took over the business from his father Paul McComiskey who also is a podiatrist. Phil has experience in both the Private and Public (NHS) sector as a Podiatrist.
We are located at 300 Saintfield Road, Belfast, BT8 6PE. There is free convenient parking at our clinic with disabled access. We are open Monday to Friday and provide Tuesday and Thursday evening clinics as this may be more convenient for patients. Phil graduated from Ulster University. Phil has further his clinical skill and specialises in advanced verruca treatment, swift microwave therapy. btpodiatry is in the top 10% of clinics in the UK performing Swift treatment.

Meet Phil
Clinic Director & Podiatrist
Philip T McComiskey BSc (Hons) Podiatry, MChS. HCPC Registered
Phil qualified as a Podiatrist from The School of Podiatry at Ulster University in 2016. Phil is now clinical director of bt8podiatry which involves managing the daily running of the clinic and also provides clinical treatments. Phil has had experience in both the private sector and working in the NHS managing high risk foot conditions, managing muscular skeletal pathologies and sports injuries prescribing custom made orthoses.
In clinic Phil specialises in Swift therapy which is a new breakthrough treatment for stubborn warts and verrucas. He is also involved in Routine treatment, gait analysis and nail surgery.
Phil has also gained his POMs (prescription on medicines) which enable him to prescribe certain medications which will further add to benefit his patients.

Meet Ciara
Senior Podiatrist
Ciara McCullough BSc (Hons) Podiatry, MChS. HCPC Registered
Ciara graduated from the School of Podiatry at Ulster University in 2002. She has 16 years post graduate experience focusing on high risk (Neurological conditions/ Rheumatology/ Renal disease) and the diabetic foot.
Ciara specialises in Nail Surgery, Nail Reconstruction and is involved in Routine Treatments.
She has completed Masters level education in vascular disease and has a special interest in foot care in diabetes.
