A biomechanical examination is beneficial if you are experiencing pain in your feet or lower limb. It is well recognised that abnormal stance and gait can be the cause of a variety of musculoskeletal conditions, involving the feet, ankles, knees, hips and lower back. Heel pain is one of the most common conditions affecting the feet. Here at Bt8podiatry we will do our best to keep you active and pain free.

It is essential that patients with diabetes (type 1&2) are assessed once a year as it can effect your circulation and the nerves in your feet. During this 30-minute consultation patients will receive a thorough assessment, foot treatment and will be educated on how to manage your feet as a diabetic.

Nail surgery is offered at bt8podiatry. Ingrown toenails are often reoccurring therefore a permanent solution is needed to prevent this. Nail surgery is a procedure carried out using a local anaesthetic to remove part of a nail or the whole nail. A chemical called phenol is then applied to the area where the nail has been removed . This prevents the nails from growing back.To find out more about nail surgery contact us today on 02892796666.
